Linking hands,ribbons and resources against violenceIt's great fun to click on the Map - on the Pledge Menu, and discover our friends pledging up from Overseas- so far in Belgium and France, Canada and the United States. I know from other networks that there are loads of men doing anti violence against women stuff all over the world, - we will be hoping to talk to you very soon.
Our priority is to get 5,000 pledges from UK men to start withm and to get 25% of them taking some sort of action
Getting the pledges on the page is just the start - this ability we have now to add resources on our own is great- we want to be overwhelmed with useful resources that we can all share- all our materials are copyable and we hope others will feel the same way. I am still ot very good at adding photos to stories, but we are able to do it in out blog, so take a look at that. Short term adn long term volunteers are always welcome in what is one of the greatest places to live in the UK.

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD
A press release from Cheshire West and Cheshire Council reads:
Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.
Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authority’s Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse. In the spirit of embracing new technologies, a new development is that you can now Pledge by text. To do so, Text wrc to 78866Pledges now accepted via text messaging!
