










Following Chris Green's visit to Salford Royal on 15th June, the hospital administration are wanting to move towards becoming the first White Ribbon Hospital.
Bev Tabernacle, Assistant Director of Nursing for Safeguarding said: “It’s great to see so many people here today committed to ending domestic violence.
“Salford Royal is very clear that we do not condone violence of any kind and we want every organisation to take this stance. By teaming up with The White Ribbon Campaign and working with other organisations across the North West, we hope to put a stop to domestic violence.”

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD

Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.
Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authority’s Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse.
