White Ribbon Authorities

Lots happening on the number of Local Authorities approaching White Ribbon status. A number of authorities are filling in the questionnaire (which can be downloaded from our Resources page) and ensuring that their Domestic Abuse strategy fulfils the criteria. East Staffordshire Borugh Council will be receiving their White Ribbon Plaque and Certificate at a press conference on Thursday 16th September 2010.

We hope that other authorities can have their applications in place well before White Ribbon Day on 25th November.

One idea that a local authority had was that on the run-up to White Ribbon Day, all the refuse collection vehicles were endorsed with White Ribbons!
