










The Newcastle-Under-Lyme council are advertising awareness of the cause "Men fighting to end male violence against women" at various charity events around White Ribbon Day. There will be two televised football matches played where the players will wear White Ribbon t-shirts in the warm up to the games.
These matches are as follows:
Sat 20th November, 15:00 npower League 2: Port Vale vs. Wycombe
Sat 27th 15:00 Barclays Premier League: Stoke vs. Man City

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD

Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.
Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authority’s Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse.
