Dayncourt School and Nottingham DV Forum Support White Ribbon

White Ribbon Campaign would like to thank Dayncourt Comprehensive School and Nottingham Domestic Violence Forum for all their hard work.   Jude Long Domestic Violence Coordinator at Nottingham Domestic Violence Forum has been working with Dayncourt School to promote White Ribbon issues in the school.  The activity she coordinated was with a group of 200 year 7-8 students forming a people white ribbon.  The school are set to receive their Silver Award in the New Year.Daynton School Human White RibbonDaynton School Human White Ribbon

NDVF have also been working with post 16 year students to develop Radio Commercials at Boundary Sound at Newark, raising awareness about DV issues to be aired on and around International White Ribbon Day, the 25th November.  These commercials have been done to a high standard and these young people should be very proud of what they have achieved.

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD

A press release from Cheshire West and Cheshire Council reads:

Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.

Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authoritys Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse.
