South Nottinghamshire Academy Receive Award

South Nottinghamshire Academy (formerly known as Dayncourt and featured last year for students creating a 'human White Ribbon' on WR Day) received the Gold White Ribbon Award Certificate on Monday 28th November.

On the same day, Bulwell Academy received the Silver White Ribbon Award.At White Ribbon Campaign UK we are extremely pleased at all the hard work that has resulted in their new status and wish them well in continuing to raise awareness of abuse and violence against women and girls.

Cheshire West and Chester Council awarded White Ribbon Partnership Award

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD

A press release from Cheshire West and Cheshire Council reads:

Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.

Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authoritys Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse.
