The Million Women Rise Coalition is a diverse group of individual women and women representatives from the Voluntary and Community Sector who are united by our outrage at the continued daily, hourly, minute-by-minute individual and institutionalised male violence enacted against women worldwide.
Million Women Rise: Million Women Rise
We believe that every woman and child has a right to live free from violence and that ongoing violence devastates not only the lives of the individuals directly affected but also the communities of which they are part. We have come together to organise a national demonstration against violence against women.

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD
A press release from Cheshire West and Cheshire Council reads:
Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.
Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authority’s Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse.
