Centenary of International Women's Day

The White Ribbon Campaign have been approached by the Manchester area office of Oxfam to hold ‘a bit of a do!’ to celebrate the Centenary of International Women’s Day. A Fair Afternoon Tea for Fair Ladies (and men) of Afternoon Tea and Scones (and Cake) will be held at the Methodist Church Hall, Hebden Bridge on Tuesday 8th March from 12 noon to 4pm. 

There will be information from various women’s groups – both national and international with videos, brochures etc. from Christian Aid, Shared Interest, Womens Aid, Womankind, Christian Initiative in Calderdale Schools.
