










The White Ribbon Campaign have been approached by the Manchester area office of Oxfam to hold ‘a bit of a do!’ to celebrate the Centenary of International Women’s Day. A Fair Afternoon Tea for Fair Ladies (and men) of Afternoon Tea and Scones (and Cake) will be held at the Methodist Church Hall, Hebden Bridge on Tuesday 8th March from 12 noon to 4pm.
There will be information from various women’s groups – both national and international with videos, brochures etc. from Christian Aid, Shared Interest, Womens Aid, Womankind,

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD

Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.
Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authority’s Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse.
