Once again, one of our Trustees, Linda Patterson, will be supporting White Ribbon Campaign in the adidas Women's 5K Challenge to be held in Hyde Park, London on Sunday 11th September, If you would like to take part and run along with her, please feel free to contact the office on 01422 886545 or Chris Green on 07941 597584 to make arrangements.
Last year, a good time was had by all and a phenomenal amount of money was raised for a multitude of charities. Details of the current run can be found at the %k Challenge website at http://www.womenschallenge.co.uk/home/.

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD
A press release from Cheshire West and Cheshire Council reads:
Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.
Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authority’s Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse. In the spirit of embracing new technologies, a new development is that you can now Pledge by text. To do so, Text wrc to 78866Pledges now accepted via text messaging!
