Liverpool Lord Mayors Parade
Our dynamic friends in Liverpool continue to do amazing stuff with a float in the Lord Mayors Parade. The Fire and rescue Service is now an official supporter of White Ribbon Campaign.

Presentations
International
After being in Strasbourg for a Task Force meeting Chris Green was asked to give presentations to Parliamentary Contacts from the countries taking part in the Council of Europe Campaign, and to representatives of the Focal Points in each country.

Scottish White Ribbon Campaign
We were also invited to present to a small meeting called to develop the Scottish White Ribbon campaign, jointly arranged by Scottish branch of Amnesty International and Scottish Mens Health Campaign

Merchandise
The First Production Samples of New Ribbons and their boxes arrived in June , and were quickly snapped up at meetings.

We’ve negotiated for our first “warehouse”  a spare garage at Calderdale Volunteer Bureau

Academic Research
Three new enquiries from researchers, one referred from Fawcett Society, and one from City University.

Community Care Conference
We have been invited to swap links with Community Care magazine as well as running a workshop for them at a conference in November

Student Placements
We are currently under discussions with Bradford University and Strasborug University to act as a supervisor for long term student placements
