National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (USA)

For those of you who don't know, in 2010 in the USA, February was declared the national teen dating violence prevention and awareness month. Unfortunately, millions of teens experience physical and sexual abuse, violence, and harassment at the hands of their romantic partner. In fact, 1 in 3 teens experience physical, emotional, or verbal abuse from a partner.

Further information and resources can be found at the Teen Violence Awareness Month website. However, do remember that this is an American site. For more information on the WRC UK Valentines Day Campaign, follow the links in our Resources-->Education Resources pages.
