Why Violence against Women
is a Men’s Problem
- Men are the main perpetrators of violence
- Men can speak out and intervene when our male friends and
relatives insult or attack women.
- Men's partners', friends', sisters' and daughters' lives are
damaged by violence and abuse.
- Men can help create a culture where the behaviour of a minority,
who treat women and girls with contempt or violence, becomes
unacceptable.
- Men can examine our own behaviour andÜ consider changes which
will create a world based upon gender equality.
I/We have visited the
website www.whiteribboncampaign.co.uk
and read the above. I/we would welcome the opportunity
of working with WRC. Please add my/our
name to the list of supporters.
