Why Violence against Women
is a Men’s Problem
- Men are the main perpetrators of violence
- Men can speak out and intervene when our male friends and
relatives insult or attack women.
- Men's partners', friends', sisters' and daughters' lives are
damaged by violence and abuse.
- Men can help create a culture where the behaviour of a minority,
who treat women and girls with contempt or violence, becomes
unacceptable.
- Men can examine our own behaviour and consider changes which
will create a world based upon gender equality.
I/We have visited the

of working with WRC. Please add my/our
name to the list of supporters. |

White Ribbon Campaign
The White Ribbon Campaign (WRC) is the UK branch of the global campaign to ensure
men take more responsibility for reducing the level of violence against
women.

The WRC is unique as the first male oriented organisation to oppose violence against women.
