The Effect of Domestic Abuse on Children is a video produced by the Welsh Government and is available on their Live Fear Free website.
White Ribbon Campaign would like to thank Dayncourt Comprehensive School and Nottingham Domestic Violence Forum for all their hard work. Jude Long Domestic Violence Coordinator at Nottingham Domestic Violence Forum has been working with Dayncourt School to promote White Ribbon issues in the school. The activity she coordinated was with a group of 200 year 7-8 students forming a people white ribbon. The school are set to receive their Silver Award in the New Year.

Drama pupils at Groby Community College were inspired after performing a play written by an anti-bullying worker.
The County Council's anti-bullying team believes young people will relate to the "thought provoking" production.
The film Trapped shows the consequences of domestic violence and the traumatic affect it has on people's lives.
'Strong and emotive'
The production took Alex Thompson, Amy Newby, Catherine Bearne, Conor Clarke, and Victoria Reid a year to complete.
Ms Bosley hopes councils across the country will be interested in the filmMr Thompson, who is now studying at De Montfort University, said the "very strong and emotive" film tackles important issues.
"It looks at the victims' feelings and how that can affect other aspects of their life, such as relationships with family and friends," he said.
The film-maker said they used a young cast because they wanted youngsters to be aware that domestic violence does not "just affect adults, it can affect them as they're growing up too".
Sue Bosley, Leicestershire County Council's anti-bullying strategy manager, said she is always looking for "new and innovative materials".
"This film is gripping, thought provoking and a resource that young people will be able to relate to," she said.
"It will provide excellent material for working with students to explore issues around developing positive relationships."
The 30-minute film, which will be divided into shorter videos, will be available to all Leicestershire upper schools later in the year to raise awareness, help teaching and support discussions about domestic violence.

COUNCIL AWARDED WHITE RIBBON PARTNERSHIP AWARD

Cheshire West and Chester Council has been awarded the nationally recognised White Ribbon Partnership Award from the White Ribbon Campaign UK for its multi-agency partnership approach to tackling domestic abuse.
Working in partnership with public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors the award was granted to the authority’s Cheshire West Together project for its approach to increasing awareness of domestic abuse and support to families affected by domestic abuse.
